Security Advisory and Disclosure Principles
In most cases, Jetway will notify customers after a security update or viable mitigation has been validated. Notification may include direct communication with affected customers or publication of a security advisory on this website. Before publishing an advisory, Jetway PSIRT will endeavor to complete the vulnerability response process and confirm that an update, patch, workaround, or clear remediation plan sufficient to reduce the risk is available.
Security advisories are intended to provide customers with enough information to protect their systems while avoiding unnecessary details that could be maliciously exploited. Where applicable, an advisory may include:
- Affected products and versions.
- Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) identifier.
- A brief description of the vulnerability and its potential impact.
- CVSS severity rating and vector information.
- Security updates, mitigation measures, or actions customers need to take.
- Acknowledgment of the vulnerability reporter who assisted with coordinated disclosure, subject to their consent.
Except for information provided in advisories, release notes, knowledge base articles, or FAQs, Jetway generally does not provide technical details that could facilitate exploitation and does not distribute exploit or proof-of-concept code. Scanning, penetration testing, or other security testing that could affect Jetway production systems is prohibited without prior written authorization.
